Jimmy - Senior Portrait

Pretty much family, Jimmy has been around in my life for as long as I can remember. He is my Brother and Sister's half brother on their Dad's side. For those that I just confused by that sentence, don't worry about it, but Jimmy is pretty much family.

Aquinas football and baseball star all of high school, entering his senior year from a quarter back all 3 years to a running back is going to be a fun transition he said tonight. He followed in his Dad Mike, uncle Jim, and older brother Mike's footsteps of crushing the ball and being an all around player on the field.

Congrats and good luck on your senior year Jimmy and I'll see you sometime at a football or baseball game!
Any Aquinas student that mentions this blog post will receive half off their senior session.

Ellie - 9 months

Ohhh FINALLY we got a smiley baby! We have tried 3 or 4 times for Ellie's pictures and almost every time we'd maybe get 25 pictures taken within 2 hours because she wasn't ever in a good mood. Well not this time, we met Bryan, Cassie, and Ellie at Pettibone for Ellie's 9 month pictures but also a few family shots.

Bryan and Cassie will be celebrating a 2 year anniversary coming up October 11, which I had photographed their wedding back in 08' then maternity, newborn, 3 month, 6 month, and now 9 month pictures of Ellie.

Congrats on 2 years guys!
Probably see you at a few football parties, and then in a few months for Ellie's 1 year old pictures!
Thanks for stopping by.

Kennedy - Senior Portrait

Awwwww my little cousin Kennedy is all grown up now. A Senior in high school, how the time flies. Kennedy and I photographed her senior portraits today, and her good friend Hollie was nice enough to come along and hold reflectors and help me out. I do believe I will be seeing her sometime in September to do her senior pictures???

Kennedy is off to New York next year to nanny for a year, and then hopefully head to NYU for music. She certainly didn't get her singing from my side of the family.....?
She wanted some with an old micro phone, had a couple outfits to change into, and then wanted to get her prom dress a little wet :)
Good luck senior year Kennedy and best of luck in New York! Perhaps a wedding out there????? :D

Brian + Nichole - The Wedding (Friday)

What a funny day with weather. Cloudy and 70' on the drive to Rochester, pouring rain before the ceremony, 85+' and humid after the ceremony, all within a matter of a few hours.

Anyways it was Brian and Nichole's perfect day for a Friday night wedding in Rochester. I had known Brian for at least 5 years, pretty much all through high school we'd bump into eachother in the halls and at different sporting events, "Brian Smith Buddy.....Jared Anderson Buddy!"

Fun group of ladies, full of laughs as they were getting ready, even I got a few belly laughs out of them.
I don't know what she was looking for..... Maybe a treasure? While the girls were getting ready, I photographed a few details. Nichole's aunt flew in from Oregon to do her flowers which were amazing and fun to photograph. Even got a few with the rings with a few of the flower decors.
Short and sweet ceremony to walk outside to crazy hot and humid sunshine for wedding party pictures at the Amazing Plummer House in Rochester Minnesota.
After some posed shots in the church, we took off for the Plummer House. What an amazing place to take pictures, so many different places to shoot.
After we left the Plummer House to head straight to the reception at the Blue Moon Ballroom. I photographed a few details there, grabbed a quick bite to eat and got ready for the speeches and dance.
After they cut the cake, Brian pulled me aside and told me him and one of the groomsmen had a fun dance/lip sync for the gaarder toss and to be ready for it right after the first dances. It was Michael Jackson's "You knock me off my feet." Super fun and unique routine for Brian to get the gaarder.

The Blue Moon Ballroom gives free dance lessons if you book your reception hall, and is actually the only place in Rochester with a real dance floor. Brian and Nichole did a swing dance routine for their first dance.
After the first dance I got ready for his plan to get to the gaarder. It was a lot of fun to watch, and everyone enjoyed it.

YOU KNOCK ME OFF MY FEET!!!
A big congrats to Brian and Nichole on your wedding day in beautiful Rochester Minnesota!
We'll see you sometime in September for "Trash the Dress!"

All of Brian and Nichole's images will be posted on my website for purchase within 2-3 weeks. www.JaredLeeLLC.com - Order Images
