Braxton and Family (10 months)

Jenna had done a maternity session with me, then newborn, and now 10 months with little chubber cheeks Braxton (Brax). Her and Brian met me at Myrick park to start off the session. Grandma came with to help get Brax's attention towards the camera for some family shots as well.

To start off the shoot, we just with the flow and layed a blanket out on the grass and had Grandma do some songs and dances:

It was funny to have Brax look at me when he heard the camera "click, click, click" he would just stare at me:

After I had got a couple dozen close ups of Brax, we tried a couple family shots, and for some reason Brax didn't want to be on Mom or Dad's lap, but we grabbed a couple frames just before he stared to get crabby for no reason and start screaming and crying.

After we tried that, Jenna thought he might need to be fed so he stops acting up. We took off to the beach, Brax had some dinner in the car and when we got to the beach he was all full. I don't think he had been to the beach yet, and he loved the feeling of the sand in his feet and hands.

At the end of the session Jenna and Brian wanted a couple nice shots of just the two of them. They just bought a house and Jenna had picked out an arrangement of 3 frames that are 20x20 each, and she wanted one of just the two of them, one of the entire family, and then one of Brax to put in those frames. Thanks for being a return customer Jenna, Brian and Braxton. It's fun watching a family grow within the course of a year and be able to tell that story through images. We'll see you again in 6 months or a year :)
