Helgeson's back again.....

Oh how I love the Helgeson's. Bryan, Cassie, and little Ellie. I photographed Bryan and Cassie's wedding October 11, 2008 (Happy 2 year Anniversary coming up), then photographed their maternity session, newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month, and now on to 1 year pictures of Ellie coming up in a month or two. For those that follow my blog you've seen them a few times, and certainly going to keep seeing them in the future.

Some of my facebook followers saw my Mother's day Special for Family session's and Cassie took advantage of the session fee for her Mom and so we scheduled a fall family portrait up at Cassie's Dad's piece of land just outside of La Crosse towards Coon Valley. What a cool place to photograph a family.
Thanks Helgeson's!

Thanks for stopping by.

The Benson Family

Good ol Charlie....Aka "The Handy Man" Charlie is my neighbor, super great guy, wants to help out on any project and probably just wants a cup of coffee from Kwik Trip as payment. Him and his son Jeff are big fishermen with fishing tournaments all summer. Jeff's wife read the back of my car, and set up a family photo session two nights ago. Originally we were supposed to photograph out at Goose Island, but with the big rain the park is closed due to high water so we rescheduled for a friend of their families farm just outside of Holmen. Great location, great shoot! Thanks for hanging out with me for an hour guys.

Erin + Joe - The Engagement

Suprise engagement from behind a wall at Piggy's.... Joe had a plan, a very sneaky plan.He drove from the Twin Cities to propose to the lucky Erin thinking she is just going out to dinner with a couple of her friends at Piggy's. Joe had called and told the hostess and staff what his plan was and they helped him out, got him hid behind a wall right next to the table where Erin and her friends were going to sit.

Joe and Erin's big day is coming up in a few short weeks, October 9th, and I'm super excited to work with these two, laid back, and just a great couple.

Their engagement session was supposed to be last week up in the cities, but due to the few days of rain we cancelled, and Joe made the trip to La Crosse Sunday afternoon for their engagement session.
During the session I was asking about their story, and obviously the proposal was at Piggy's, so I wanted to go photograph in Piggy's at the exact table he got down on one knee.
Congrats to Joe and Erin on their engagement and their big day coming up 10.9.10.

All of Joe and Erin's images will be posted on my website for purchase within a month after their wedding. www.JaredLeeLLC.com - Order images

The Rice Cakes - Jada + Jordan (Twins) - Senior Portrait

Alrighty! Starting off with the Rice twin's from Onalaska! Jordan was up first, met up with her Monday for an hour or so, Jordan was great to work with, we moved quick and I didn't have to give her much instruction. It was kind of funny, she'd start off with a serious face and after a couple clicks she'd bring out that smile, and with Jada on Tuesday, she'd start off with a huge smile, but couldn't hold together a serious look for too long :)
Now onto Jada, aka pokey, that's her new nick name because she was 20 minutes late. But it's ok, typical female ;) everything has to be perfect! After Jada's session, Jordan and her boyfriend RJ came at the end to do a couple shots of Jordan with RJ's truck and then as requested by their Mom, we obviously had to do a couple shots of the two of them together. The serious ones were tough for Jada, like I said she couldnt' keep it together for very long, but wasn't a problem for Jordan!
Both girls were fantastic to work with, both brought a bunch of ideas and props. Snowboard, wakeboard, water ski, vollyball apperal etc etc. Thanks for hanging out with me ladies, I had a great time!

Alicia + Sean - The Engagement pt II

Back to Sean and Alicia, they were the winners of my bridal contest from the Minneapolis convention center Bridal show last March. We had done a short engagement session a few months ago when they came into town to go over packages and prices, but we both agreed on more engagement pictures in their neck of the woods which is downtown St. Paul.

I met up with them after photographing Karen + Aaron - The Engagement in Webster Minnesota, so it worked out great!

I'll see you guys in January sometime for a family session, and I look forward to working with you guys next June on your special day!
